Description

The TC74VCX16543FT is a high performance CMOS 16-bit REGISTERED TRANSCEIVER. Designed for use in 1.8, 2.5 or 3.3 Volt systems, it achieves high speed operation while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. It is also designed with over voltage tolerant inputs and outputs up to 3.5 V. The TC74VCX16543FT can be used as two 8-bit transceivers or one 16-bit transceiver. Separate latch-enable (LEAB or LEBA) and output-enable (OEAB or OEBA) inputs are provided for each register to permit independent control in either direction of data flow. The A-to-B enable (CEAB) input must be low in order to enter data from A or to output data from B. If CEAB is low and LEAB is low, the A-to--B- latches-are- transparent; a subsequent low-to-high transition of LEAB puts the Alatches in the storage mode. With CEAB and OEAB both low, the 3-state outputs are active and reflect the data present at the output of the A latches. Data flow from to A is similar but requires using the CEBA, and OEBA inputs. When the HE input is high, the outputs of the TC74VCX16543FT are in a high impedance state. This device is designed to be used with 3 -State memory address drivers, etc. All inputs are equipped with protection circuits against static discharge.
