The TC74ACT244FW is designed as advanced high speed CMOS octal bus buffer fabricated with silicon ate and double-layer metal wiring C2MOS technology. It achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalent bipolar schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation.
TC74ACT244FW has six features. (1)High speed which would be typ 5.0ns at Vcc=5V. (2)Low power dissipation which would be max 8uA at Ta=25°C. (3)Compatible with TTL outputs which would be max 0.8V for low and 2.0V min for high. (4)Symmetrical output impedance would be min 24mA capability of driving 50ohms transmission lines. (5)Balanced propagation delays. (6)Pin and function compatible with 74F240/244. Those are all the main features.
