The TA8232F is battery charger IC for lead batterys and applicable to various types from 1 to 6cells. Simple system with minimized external components is avaliable.

The features of TA8232F are: (1)applicable to various types of lead battery from 1 to 6 cells utilizing selectable reference voltage; (2)reference voltage can be adjusted by external resistor; (3)charging time can be set freely by changing the external current with the external resistor; (4)charging completion can be indicated by LED utilizing the charge monitor circuit
