The TA7227P is a 5.5W dual power amplifier.Features of the TA7227P are:(1)dual mode or bridge connection mode type.; (2)some protection circuits included,thermal protection,over voltage protectiion,current limitter,BTL DC Short Protection.; (3)wide operting voltage range:VCC(opr)=8~18V; (4)a chassis mounting is easily designed using SIP(single in line package)12 pins.; (5)very few external parts; (6)this power IC obtains high output power by bridge connection:pout=17W(typ.) at Vcc=13.2V,RL=4,THD=10%; (7)dual mode:minimum load impedence is 2 ohm; (8)btl mode:minimum load impedance is 4 ohm.
