The TA48M025F is designed as toshiba bipolar linear integrated circuit silicon monolithic which consists of fixed-posotive-output, low-dropout regulators with an output current of 500mA max. In response to the need for low voltage devices, it offers devices with low output voltages.
TA48M025F has five features. (1)Output current in excess of 0.5A. (2)Low standby current 0.8mA typ. (3)Low dropout voltage would be 0.65V max at Io=0.5A. (4)Protection function which means over heat, over current, over voltage, reversed power supply connections. (5)Power mold package which means surface mount type for reflow soldering is also supported. Those are all the main features.
