TA2048FN

The TA2048FN is a DC/DC converter IC which is developed for biasing variable capacitance diodes of tuner system.It is especially suitable for supplying high voltage (about 14.3V) for digital tuning (FM/TV/AM) system at low power operation.

Features of the TA2048FN are:(1)few external parts;(2)excellent spurious radiation by oscillation of sine wave;(3)output voltage:VO=14.3V(typ.);(4)excellent regulatory capability of output voltage against fluctuation of supply voltage,and of ambient temperature;(5)built-in constant current source,it is suitable for digital tuning system(ICTL can be controlled by RCTL);(6)built-in power switch.

The absolute maximum ratings of the TA2048FN can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage,VCC:4.5V;(2)output voltage,VO:18V;(3)constant current source circuit output current,Ictl:5mA;(4)power dissipation(note),PD:300mW;(5)operating temperature,Topr:-25 to 75;(6)storage temperature,Tstg:-55 to 150.(note) derated above Ta=25 in the proportion of 2.4mW.
