T0806-TCQ

The T0806-TCQ  is one of the T0806 series.The T0806-TCQ  is a laser diode driver for the operation of a grounded laser diode for DVD-RAM(650nm) and CD-RW(780nm) drives.It includes three channels for three different optical power levels which are controlled by a separate IC.The read channel generates a continuous output level whereas channels 2 and 3 are provided as write channels with very fast switching speeds.Write current pulses are enabled when a 'low'signal is applied to the NE pins.All channel are summed together at the IOUT pin.Each channel can contribute up to 250mA to the total output current of up to 300 mA.A total gain of 100 is provided between each reference current input and the output.Although the reference inputs are current inputs voltage control is possible by using external resistors.

Features of the T0806-TCQ  are:(1)current-controlled ouput current source,3 input channels; (2)two selectable ouput for grouded laser diodes; (3)output current per channel up to 250mA; (4)total ouput current to 300mA(minimum); (5)rise time 1.0 ns,fall time 1.1 ns; (6)on-chip rf oscillator; (7)control of 2 different swings by use of 2 external resistors; (8)oscillator frequency range from 200MHz to 600 MHz; (9)oscillator swing to 100 mA; (10)single 5V power supply ; (11)common enable/disable input ; (12)TTL/CMOS control signals; (13)small PB-free QFN16(4mm*4mm) or SSO16 package.
