The STK4048XI is designed as AF power amplifier (split power supply) with 150W min and THD=0.008%.
STK4048XI has two features. (1) The use of a current mirror circuit, cascode circuit, pure complementary circuit provides low distortion (THD=0.008% / 100kHz LPF ON). (2) Possible to design electronic supplementary circuits (pop noise muting at the time of power ON/OFF, load short potector, thermal shutdown). That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of STK4048XI have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its maximum supply voltage would be +/-87V. (2) Its thermal resistance would be 1.2°C/W. (3) Its junction temperature would be 150°C. (4) Its operating substrate temperature would be 125°C. (5) Its storage temperature range would be from -30°C to +125°C. (6) Its recommended supply voltage would be +/-60V. (7) Its load resistance would be 8.
