The SN65HVD1781D is designed as one kind of 70-V fault-protected RS-485 transceiver that can be used in (1)HVAC networks; (2)security electronics; (3)building automation; (4)telecomm equipment; (5)motion control; (6)industrial networks. SN65HVD1781D combines a differential driver and a differential receiver, which operate from a single power supply, and is also robust to ESD events, with high levels of protection to the JEDEC or IEC human-body-model specification.
