SMH series

The SMH series is designed as one kind of large capacitance aluminum electrolytic capacitors.This series has three features:(1)RoHS compliant;(2)non solvent-proof type and (3)endurance with ripple current:2,000 hours at 85.

The important spacifications of the SMH series can be summarized as:(1)category temperature range:-40 to +85;(2)rated voltage range:6.3 to 100 Vdc;(3)capacitance tolerance:+/-20%;(4)leakage current:I=0.02 CV or 3 mA,whichever is smaller,where,I:max.leakage current,C:nominal capacitance,V:rated voltage;(5)endurance:the specifications shall be satisfied when the capacitor are restored to 20 after subjected to DC voltage with the rated ripple current is applied for 2,000 hours at 85:capacitance change:<=20% of the initial value,D.F.:<200% of the initial specified value.

The SMH series endurance of capacitors is shorted with internal heating produced by ripple surrent at the rate of halving the lifetime with every 5 rise.When long life performance is required in actual use,the rms ripple current has to be reduced.
