The SL1000J is designed as one member of the SL...J series which are general purpose video filters. This range of 7-pole Elliptical Function low pass filters is similar to a type which has been successfully used in Broadcasting for many years but is offered in a 16 pin Single In Line package at reduced costs. The filters SL1000J are corrected for group delay distortion over 95% of the passband and for loss distortion over the entire passband. Degradation of a composite video signal is minimal when a 4.5 MHz or 5.5 MHz filter is selected for a 525 or 625 line T.V. system.

Some important electrical characteristics of SL1000J are concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its end of passband would be 10MHz. (2)Its nominal 3dB would be 10.73MHz. (3)Its start of stopband would be 13.26MHz. (4)Its group delay ripple would be 10ns. (5)Its delay time would be 261ns. And so on.

And also some other important data of SL1000J are concluded into sveral points as follow. (1)Impedance would be 75ohms. (2)Its insertion loss would have the maximum value of 1.0dB. (3)Its stopband attenuation wrt 100kHz would have the minimum value of 45dB. (4)Its amplitude ripple in passband would have the maximum value of 0.2dB. It should be noted that video performance for filters of 5.0MHz (4.5MHz for 525 line) and above. (5)Its pulse and bar: K-rating would have the maximum value of 0.5%. (6)Its luminance or chrominance gain inequality (20T) would have the maximum value of 2%. (7)Its luminance or chrominance delay inequality would have the maximum value of 10ns. (8)Its aqueous washable would be yes. (9)Its package would be DR00074A. And so on.
