SITU3040

The SITU3040 is a high performance externally modulated transmitter for applications from 50 MHz to 40 GHz.The SITU 3040 is a fully integrated unit that contains both the optics and the control electronics. Only DC input voltages and the RF signal are required for operation.

Features of the SITU3040 are:(1)50 MHz--40 GHz; (2)high dynamic range; (3)fully integrated unit; (4)bias control circuits for laser and modulator.The units can be used to construct transparent links for antenna remoting. The broad bandwidth is intended for applications such as electronic warfare and Ka band systems. The absolute maximum ratings of the SITU3040 can be summarized as:(1)storage temperature range:-40 to 70;(2)optical output power:7dbm;(3)wavelength:1550dbm;(4)RF input power dBm:0 to 25dbm;(5)frequency range:5 to 40GHz.Stresses in excess of the absolute maximum ratings can cause permanent damage to the device.
