SI3046

The SI3046 is designed as one kind of integrated direct access arrangement (DAA) chipset. SI3046 provides a digital, low-cost, solid-state interface to a telephone line and eliminates the need for an analog front end (AFE), an isolation transformer, relays, opto-isolators, and a 2- to 4-wire hybrid. Also it interfaces directly to standard modem DSPs and supports all FCC and JATE out-of-band noise requirements. SI3046 can be used in wide range of applications such as (1)software modems; (2)audio/telephony sub-systems; (3)audio/modem riser cards (AMR); (4)mobile daughter cards (MDC); (5)mini-PCI cards.
