The SC1015 is designed as a set of three-terminal low power voltage regulators implemented in CMOS technology. They are available with several fixed output voltages ranging from l.5V to 7.0V. CMOS technology ensures low voltage drop and low quiescent current. Although designed primarily as fixed voltage regulators, these devices can be used with external components to obtain variable voltages and currents. The SC1015 is housed in TO-92 package. Typical applications is battery-powered equipment, communication equipment and audio/video equipment.
SC1015 has five features. (1)Its low power consumption. (2)Low voltage drop. (3)Low temperature coefficient. (4)Wide operating voltage 12V max. (5)TO-92 package. Those are all the main features.
