SBX1602A has eight functions. (1)Automatic cable equalizer (maximum gain: 30dB at 135MHz). (2)PLL for serial clock generation. (3)Reclocked repeater output (active loop through). (4)Descrambler: modula-2 multiplication by G(X)=(x^9+x^4+1)(x+1). (5)Serial to parallel conversion. (6)SYNC monitor output. (7)Eye pattern monitoring. (8)Input signal detector.
