S3L40

The S3L40 is designed as one kind of super fast recovery rectifiers with voltage of 400V and current of 3A. Its typical applications include switching power supply, free wheel, home appliances, office equipment and telecommunication, factory automation.

(5)Its peak surge forward current would be 60A with conditions of 50Hz sine wave and non-repetitive 1 cycle peak value and Tj=25°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of S3L40 (if not specified Tl would be 25°C) are concluded as follow. (1)Its forward voltage with symbol of Vf would be max 1.3A with conditions of If=3.0A and pulse measurement. (2)Its reverse current with symbol of Ir would be max 10uA with conditions of Vr=Vrm and pulse measurement.
