S30SC4M

The S30SC4M is designed as one kind of schottky rectifiers (SBD) with voltage of 40V and current 30A. Its typcial applications include switching power supply, DC/DC converter, home appliances, office equipment and telecommunication.

S30SC4M has four features. (1)Its Tj would be max 150°C. (2)Prrsm avalanche guaranteed. (3)It has small jc. (4)It has high current capacity. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of S30SC4M have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 150°C. (2)Its operating junction temperature would be 150°C. (3)Its maximum reverse voltage would be 40V. (4)Its repetitive peak surge reverse voltage would be 45V with conditions of pulse width 0.5ms and duty 1/40. (5)Its average rectified forward current would be 30A with conditions of 50Hz sine wave, R-load and rating for each diode Io/2 and Tc=126°C. (6)Its peak surge forward current would be 300A with conditions of 50Hz sine wave and non-repetitive 1 cycle peak value and Tj=125°C. (7)Its repetitive peak surge reverse power would be 1000W with conditions of pulse width 10us and rating of per diode and Tj=25°C. (8)Its mounting torque would be 0.8Nm with conditions of recommended torque 0.5Nm. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of S30SC4M are concluded as follow. (1)Its forward voltage would be max 0.55V with conditions of If=15A and pulse measurement and rating of per diode. (2)Its reverse current would be max 10mA with conditions of Vr=Vrm and pulse measurement and rating of per diode.
