The RCC613 is a monolithic 125 Megabaud twisted pair transceiver (TPT) designed for IEEE 802.3 Fast Ethernet applications. It implements the Physical Media Dependent (PMD) Layer requirements of the lOObaseTX Fast Ethernet standard. It can be used With RCC6ll Fast Ethernet PHY to perform the 100baseTX physical layer requirements. The RCC613 Integrates MLT3 encoding, data driving and receiving, link pulse driving, adaptive equalization, base line wander compensation (DC restoration) and MLT3 decoding. It operates With a single +5v supply.
The features of RCC613 can be summarized as (1)designed for 100baseTX fast ethernet PMD standard; (2)controlled symmetric transmit output rise/fall time; (3)tristatable transmit output; (4)adjustable transmit amplitude for longer cables; (5)DC restoration (baseline wander compensation); (6)no receive input attenuation required; (7)adaptive line equalization; (8)compatible with RCC611 Fast Ethemet PHY; (9)fast link pulse driving; (10)28 pin PLCC; (11)525mW power dissipation.
The absolute maximum ratings of RCC613 are (1)positive power supply :0 to 6V; (2)voltage applied to any PECL/MLT3 outputs: -0.5 to Vcc V; (3)voltage applied to any TTL inputs: -0.5 to Vcc V; (4)voltage applied to any PECL inputs: -0.5 to Vcc V; (5)current from any PECL/MLT3 outputs: -50 to +50 mA; (6)operating temperature:0 to 70°C; (7)storage temperature: -65 to 150°C; (8)junction temperature: -55 to 150°C; (9)lead soldering (10 seconds): 300°C (Functional operation under any of these oonditions is NOT implied. Performance and reliability are guaranteed only if operating conditions are not exceeded. ).
