The R68000 has many features. The first one is 16M byte (8M word) linear addressing range. The second one is 14 operand addressing modes. The third one is 56 powerful instruction types. The fourth one is instruction set supports structured high-level languages. The fifth one is pipelining instruction execution. The sixth one is 32-bit program counter. The seventh one is 16-bit data bus. The eighth one is 23-line address bus. The ninth one is 32-bit data and address registers include eight general purpose data registers and seven address registers and two stack pointers (user, supervisory).
