R602 series

The R602 series is designed as fast recovery rectifier with typical applications of inverters, choppers, transmitters and free wheeling diode.

The R602 series has many features. The first one is it would have fast recovery times. The second one is soft recovery characteristics. The third one is standard and reverse polarities. The fourth one is flag lead and stud top terminals available. The fifth one is it would have high surge current ratings. The sixth one is it would have high rated blocking voltages. The seventh one is a special electrical selection for parallel and serie operation. The eighth one is glazed ceramic seal gives high voltage creepage and strike paths. The ninth one is special selection of recovery characteristics available. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of R602 series have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its RMS forward current which would be 550A. The second one is about its average forward current which would be 350A. The third one is about its one-half cyce surge current which would be 6000A. The fourth one is about its I2t (for fusing), times >= 8.3 milliseconds which would be 150000 A2s. The fifth one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -40°C to +190°C. The sixth one is about its operating temperature range which would be from -40°C to +150°C. The seventh one is about its mounting torque (lubricated) which would be 360in-lb.

Also some electricao and thermal characteristics about R602 series. The first one is about its forward voltage drop which would be 1.5V. The second one is about its repetitive peak reverse voltage which would be 1600V. The third one is about its non-rep. trans. peak rev. voltage which would be 1800V.
