      The QVB series is designed as slotted optical switch to allow the user maximum flexibility in applications.Each swicth consists of an infrared emitting diode facing an NPN phototransistor across a .125'' (3.18 mm) gap.Also a unique housing design provides a smooth external surface to prevent dust and dirt buildup while molded internal apertures give precise positioning and also provide protection from ambient light interference.
      QVB series has three features.The first one is that it would have ambient light and dust protection.The second one is that it would be lead spacing available at .220'', .300'', or .320''.The third one is that it would be .050'' and .010'' aperatures available.That are all the features.
      Some absolute maximum specifications of QVB series(Ta = 25°C unless otherwise specified) have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its storage temperature which would be from -40°C to +85°C.The second one is about its operating temperature which would be from -40°C to +85°C.The third one is about its soldering lead temperature (iron) which would be 240°C for 5 sec.The fourth one is about its soldering lead temperature (flow) which would be 260°C for 10 sec.The fifth one is about its continuous forward current which would be 50mA.The sixth one is about its reverse voltage which would be 5.0 Volts.The seventh one is about its power dissipation which would be 100mW.The eighth one is about its collector to emitter voltage which would be 30 volts.The ninth one is about its emitter to collector voltage which would be 5.0 Volts.The tenth one is about its collector current which would be 40 mA.The last one is about its power dissipation which would be 100mW.
      There are some notes about QVB series.The first one is derate power dissipation linearly 1.67mW/°C above 25°C.The second one is RMA flux is recommended.The third one is methanol or isopropanol alcohols are recommended as cleaning agents.The last one is soldering iron tip 1/16'' (1.6 mm) from housing.For more information please contact us.
