The QT8025PBK is designed as one kind of charge transfer capacitance sensor IC with a few inexpensive external parts it becomes a complete sensor capable of detecting femtofarad capacitance changes while fully cancelling large background levels of "Cx". Advanced signal processing permits robust detection while allowing a wide range of selectable built in operating modes.
