The QS6611 is designed as 10/100baseTX symbol transceiver. Designed to minimize external parts costs, its built-in clock recovery and synthesis circuitry eliminate the need for an external clock PLL.
QS6611 has many features. The first one is low power all-CMOS design with Icc<120mA for 10baseT, Icc<100mA for 100baseT. The second one is MLT-3 transceiver with PLL clock generation & recovery. The third one is category 5 UTP and type 1 STP support. The fourth one is integrated waveshaping for 10/100. The fifth one is 5-bit symbol interface to PCS. The sixth one is built-in PLL loop filters to minimize external components and noise coupling. The seventh one is adaptive equalization for phase and amplitude compensation. The eighth one is baseline wander compensation. The ninth one is serial interface to external 10baseT transceiver. That are all the main features.
