The Q5500 is designed as IF receive AGC amplifier which is designed specifically for the receive and transmit section, respectively, of dual-mode CDMA/FM cellular applications. It provide variable gain control to IF signals with extremely wide dynamic range requirements. Typical applications include digital cellular systems, analog cellular systems, analog and digital cordless telephones, wireless data systems, personal communicatiors, specialized mobile radios and general purpose voltage variable linear IF amplifier / attenuator.

Q5500 has seven features. The first one is is supports dual mode operation. The next one is it would have supply +3.6V power supply. The next one is enhanced performance over temperature and supply voltage. The next one is it would have -45 to +45dB gain control range. The next one is 10MHz to 300MHz operation. The next one is it would have low power consumption. The next one is silicon BiCMOS process. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of Q5500 have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -55°C to +150°C. The next one is about its junction temperature which would be from -55°C to +150°C. Thenext one is about its supply voltage (relative to GND) which would be max +7.0V.
