The Q4413 is designed as echo channeller / variable rate vocoder which is a fu-duplex speech encoder and decoder that produces toll-quality speech at compressed data rates of under 13.3 kilobits per seconds. It provides a single-chip solution to the speech compression requirements for digital telephone, wireless communications, voice storage, and speech synthesis systems. It als contains an optional network echo canceller which meets the latest version of the proprietary QUALCOMM codebook excited linear predictive speech coding algorithm called purevoice to achieve the quality of a wired phone at low data rates.
Some absolute maximum ratings of Q4413 have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -65°C to +150°C. The next one is about its operating temperature range which would be from -40°C to +85°C. The next one is about its junction temperature which would be max +125°C. The next one is about its voltage on any input pin which would be min -0.5V and max +5.75V.
