The PTD-1A is designed as programmable trigger delay which provides up to 16 channels of programmable delay from a single trigger. The time resolution os 10ns with a maximum delay of 99.99s. Programming may be done manually from the front panel or with an RS232C interface from a computer. The delay accuracy is ±2ns + ±0.5% of setting and the jitter is <1 ns RMS. The input trigger circuitry provides for variable level and slope selection. Any number of delay cards from 1 to 16 may be installed in the PTD-1A chassis. Cards may be added at any time (up to 16) with no hardware changes.
