The PT-401 is designed as high speed tri-state pin driver for use in general purpose digital test systems and ATE systems. It is also ideally suited for semiconductor device testing and characterization.

PT-401 has six features. The first one is that 200MHz and 1.35ns tr/tf at TTL, ECL, and GaAs levels. The next one is 150MHz and 2ns tr/tf at CMOS levels. The next one is 10V to -5V, 10Vpp, high impedance load. The next one is 5V to -2.5V, 5Vpp, 50 ohm load. The next one is tri-state mode for I/O application. The next one is 1.2 X 0.55 X 0.12, 11 pin SIP. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of PT-401 have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its positive logic supply voltage which would be 6V. The next one is about its negative logic supply voltage which would be -7V. The next one is about its high level input voltage which would be +12V. The next one is about its low level input voltage which would be -7V. The next one is about its difference between Vih and Vil which would be 11V. The next one is about its high level output current which would be 110mA. The next one is about its low level output current which would be 75mA. The next one is about its operation temperature range which would be from 0°C to 50°C. The next one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -65°C to 125°C.

And there are some recommended operating conditions about PT-401. The first one is about its Vcc supply voltage which would be min 4.75V and nom 5.0V and max 5.25V. The next one is about its Vee supply voltage which would be min -4.50V and nom -5.0V and max -5.5V. The next one is about its high level input voltage which would be min -3.0V and max -11.0V.
