PSB4500-T

The PSB4500-T is standard speech circuit. It performs speech and interface function required for electronic telephone sets. The IC can be operated at a minimum line voltage of 1.6V DC to permit simultaneous use of several telephone sets.

Features of the PSB4500-T are:(1)operation down to a dc line voltage of 1.6V;(2)anticlipping control circuit prevents signal distortion on the line in the transmit direction caused by large microphone signals or poor supply and load conditions;(3)adjustable voltage regulator for line voltage drop;(4)adjustable differential DC resistance;(5)current supply for external components;(6)input for DTMF signals with confidence tone;(7)symmetrical high-impedance inputs for dynamic,magnetic and piezoelectric microphones;(8)asymmetrical high-impedance inputs for electret microphones;(9)wide setting range for microphone and earpiece amplifiers;(10)receiving amplifier for magnetic,dynamic and piezoelectric earpieces;(11)line loss compensation depending on line current;(12)adapatable gain control;(13)power down input for pulse dialing or register recall;(14)line loss compensation switchable from 3dB to 6dB.
