POZ3 series

The POZ3 series is designed as chip trimmer potentiometer. Utilizes new unique two piece construction to achieve low cost trimmer while maintaining excellent performance.

POZ3 series has eight features. The first one is excellent solderability characteristics are achieved via special plating techniques on each termination. The next one is specially designed substrate prevents wicking of flux onto the top of the part body. The next one is enlarged bottom termination enhance soldering strength while reducing the necessary land area required promoting high-density PCB mounting (POZ3AN only). The next one is funnel shaped, adjustment slot allows for in-process automatic adjustment. The next one is flat surface is provided for smooth pick and place (POZ3KN only). The next one is heat-resistant type is available (POZ3AN-51). The next one is the standard position of driver plate is adjusted at the center normally, but another position is also available. The next one is product meets Pb-free. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of POZ3 series have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its standard total resistance range which would be from 200 to 2M. The next one is about its total resistance tolerance which would be +/-30% of standard total resistance value. The next one is about its taper which would be B (linear). The next one is about its power rating which would be 1/10W (50°C). The next one is about its max working voltage which would be 50Vdc. The next one is about its operating temperature range which would be from -25°C to +85°C. The next one is about its rotational torque which would be from 2.0 to 19.6mNm (20 - 200gf.cm).
