      PLM series which are designed for all timing applications are +85°C 7mm Height Low-Leakage Radial Lead Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors.
      PLM series have four features.The first one is about very small size.The second one is that capacitance range of PLM series is from 0.1 F to 100 F.The third one is that voltage range of PLM series is from 6.3 WVDC to 50 WVDC.The last one is about solvent tolerant end seals standard.
      The following is about specification of PLM series.Capacitance tolerance would be within ±20%(K) at 120Hz and 20.
Operating temperature range should be -40 to +85.Dissipation factor at 120Hz and 20°C is as follows.When WVDC is 6.3 tan should be 0.24.When WVDC is 10 tan should be 0.20.When WVDC is 16 tan should be 0.16. When WVDC is 25 tan should be 0.14.When WVDC is 35 tan should be 0.12.When WVDC is 50 tan should be 0.10.Leakage current should be 0.002CV or .4A whichever is greater when the time is 2 minutes and WVDC 50 WVDC.When temp is -25/ +20, impedance ratio(Max.) at 120 Hz should respevtively be 4,3,2,2and 2 corresponding to WVDC are 6.3,10,16,25,35 and 50.When temp is -40/ +20 the corresponding impedance ratio at 120 Hz should respevtively be 10,8,6,4,3and 3.Load life should be 1,000 hours at 85°C with rated WVDC when capacitance change < 20% of initial measured values,dissipation factor <200% of initial specified value and leakage current <Initial specified value.Shelf life should be 1000 hours at 85°C with no applied voltage.Units will meet shelf life specifications.
When the frequencies were 50Hz,120Hz,400Hz,1kHz,10kHz and 100kHz,the corresponding Ripple Current Multipliers were 0.8,1.0,1.3,1.36,1.48 and 1.53.When the temperature respectively, +85,+70 and +65,the corresponding ripple current multipliers were 1.0,1.3,1.5 and 1.8.
