The PI90LV048A quad flow-through differential line receivers  are designed for applications requiring ultra low-power dissipation and high data rates. The PI90LV048A is designed to support data rates in excess of 500 Mbps(250 MHz)using low voltage differential signaling(LVDS)technology. The PI90LV048A accept low-voltage(350 mW typical) differential input signals and translates them to 3 V CMOS output levels. The receiver supports a 3-state function, which may be used to multiplex outputs,and also supports open,shorted and terminated (100 ohms)input fail-safe. The receiver output will be HIGH for all fail-safe conidtions.

PI90LV048A has many unique features: The first one is 500 Mbps(250 MHz) switching rates. The second one is flow-through pinout simplifies PCB layout. The third one is 150ps channel-to-channel skew(typical). The forth one is 100ps differential skew(typical). The fifth one is 2.7ns maximum propagation delay. The sixth one is 3.3 V power supply design. The seventh one is high impedance LVDS inputs on power down.The eighth one is low power design(40mW,3.3V static). The ninth one is wide common-mode input voltage range is 0.2 V to 2.7 V. The tenth one is it accepts small swing (350 mW typical)differential signal levels, etc.

There are some absolute maximum ratings about PI90LV048A. Supply voltage(Vcc) is -0.3 V to +4 V.Input voltage is -0.3 V to 3.9 V. Enable input voltage is -0.3 V to (Vcc+0.3 V). Output voltage is -0.3 V to (Vcc+0.3 V).Maximum package power dissipation is +25. M package is 1088 mW. MTC package is 866 mW. Derate M package is 8.5 mW/ above +25.Derate MTC package is 6.9 mW/above +25.Storage temperature range is -65 to +150.Maximum junction temperature is +150.Otherwise, there are also some recommended operating conidtions about it. Supply voltage is +3.0 V min, +3.3 V typ and +3.6 V max. Receiver input voltage is GND min and +3.0 V max. Operating free air temperature is -40 min, +25typ and +85 max.Besides, there are also some elelctrical characteristics about it. Differential input high threshold(VTH) is +100 mW max when VCM is +1.2 V , 0.05 V , 2.95 V.Differential input low threshold(VTL) is -100 V min when VCM is +1.2 V , 0.05 V , 2.95 V.Common-mode voltage range(VCMR) is 0.1 V min and 2.6 V max when VID is 200 MWpeak to peak.
