The PFCH-001 is designed as PFC control hybrid ICs. By adopting a continuous current formula, this PFC circuit control IC minimizes the amout of the rated current required by peripheral circuit components, thereby enabling the host equipment to meet the harmonic wave regulations. PFCH-001 is designed for power supplies of up to several KW capacity.
PFCH-001 has two features. (1)Compatible with a wide range of output power thanks to the large drive output current which would be +/-2A. (2)ON/OFF control possible by usig external signals. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of PFCH-001 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supplied voltage would be max 18V. (2)Its comparator input voltage would be min -0.3V and max 20V. (3)Its control amplifier input would be min -0.3V and max 6V. (4)Its multiplier input current would be max 100mA. (5)Its overvoltage protection input would be min -0.3V and max 7V. (6)Its overcurrent protection input would be max -1V. (7)ts drive circuit output current would be +/-2A. (8)Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to 85°C. (9)Its non-operating temperature range would be from -30°C to 105°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some recommended operating conditions of PFCH-001 are concluded as follow. (1)Its supplied voltage would be min 12V and max 15V. (2)Its comparator would be miin 0V and max 3.5V.
