Description

The analog front ends PEB 22711 and PEB 22713 are part of Siemens'POTSWIRETM ADSL chipset. They are optimized for use with the digital data pump PEB 22712 but can also be used in combination with other data pumps.


Due to the asymmetry of ADSL PEB 22711 and PEB 22713 optimized analog front ends are provided for central office (PEB 22711) and remote terminal application (PEB 22713) . PEB 22711 and PEB 22713 are designed to meet the high performance requirements of ADSL T1.413 Issue 2 modems while keeping power dissipation at a minimum.

In order to support various power management concepts each block of PEB 22711 and PEB 22713 can be set into power down state independently.The integrated filters can be programmed for ADSL over POTS or ADSL over ISDN operation.

Due to an integrated analog echo canceller the front ends PEB 22711 and PEB 22713 provide excellent performance on homogeneous as well as bidged tap lines.
