Description

The PCM1600Y is designed as one kind of 24-bit, 96kHz sampling, 6-channel, enhanced multi-level, delta-sigma digital-to-analog converter, this PCM1600Y can be used in (1)integrated A/V receivers; (2)DVD movie and audio players; (3)HDTV receivers; (4)car audio systems; (5)DVD add-on cards for high-end PCs; (6)digital audio workstations; (7)other multi-channel audio systems. And this device accepts industry-standard audio data formats with 16- to 24-bit audio data. Sampling rates up to 100kHz are supported.

Features of the PCM1600Y are:(1)24-bit resolution; (2)analog performance: dynamic range: 105dB typ, SNR: 104dB typ, THD+N: 0.0018% typ, and Full-Scale Output: 3.1Vp-p typ; (3)8x oversampling interpolation filter: stopband attenuation: 82dB and passband ripple: ±0.002dB; (4)sampling frequency: 10kHz to 100kHz; (5)accepts 16, 18, 20, and 24-bit audio data; (6)data formats: standard, I2S, and left-justified; (7)system clock: 256fS, 384fS, 512fS, or 768fS; (8)user-programmable functions: digital attenuation: 0dB to 63dB, 0.5dB/step, soft mute, zero detect mute, zero flags for each output channel, digital de-emphasis, digital filter roll-off: sharp or slow; (9)dual supply operation: +5V analog, +3.3V digital; (10)5V tolerant digital logic inputs.
