Description

The PCF26100 is a mixed signal based adapter device forwireless Bluetooth systems. The device adapts thebaseband interface of the Philips UAA3558 radio to thePhilips PCF26002 and PCF26003 baseband controllerdevices and also to the BlueRF JTAG UnidirectionalRxMode 2.

The adapter PCF26100 is provided as a low risk solution to a workingBluetooth system based on existing components. Theadapter ASIC implementation incorporates,as much aspossible, features to come to a complete Bluetoothsystem, meeting the Bluetooth RF requirements.

From the Bluetooth system point of view the PCF26100 isa transparent adaptation device between the basebandcontroller and the UAA3558 radio.
