Line protective components(LPC)PBR5110 consist of a ratio matched pair of thickfilm resistors with one resistor screened onto either side of a ceramic substrate. PBR5110 is used in telephone line interface overvoltage protection networks,where the LPC resistors limit the current flow through voltage/current surges of either polarity without failure and with little change in value or ratio match. When exposed to power cross conditions, the subjected resistor PBR5110 will break(fuse function) and open the circuit.It has many unique features: the first one is two ratio matched resistors in a single-in-line package. The second one is ratio match maintained after exposure to multiple surges. The third one is fuse function when exposed to power cross conditions. The forth one is non-flammable materials. The fifth one is auto-insertable.

There are some absolute maximum ratings about PBR5110.Storage temperature range is -55 to +125.Operating temperature range is -40 to +100. Power cross: Time to fail open is 1 S. Surge voltage is 286 V max(long surge) or is 430 V max(short surge).Resistance drift after 10 surges with 10 s time elapsed between each surge is -1% min and +1% max. Power dissipaiton is 0.5 W max per resistor or is 1.0 W max per component (T is 100).Otherwise,there are also some electrical characteristics about it.Nominal resistance value is 20 ohm typ(R1 is equal to R2). Resistance tolerance is -5% min and +5% max.Resistance ratioR1/R2 is 1 typ. Ratio tolerance is +1% max.
