The PACUSBVB-D1 is designed as a single-channel USB downstream-port termination network. It integrates EMI/RFI filter components R1 and C1, as recommended by the USE specification as well as the required 15kohms pull-down resistors (R2) to GND.
PACUSBVB-D1 has six features. (1)A low-capacitance USB downstream port terminator, EMI filter, and transient over-voltage protector in a single surface-mounted package. (2)ESD protection to +/-20kV contact discharge, per MIL-STD-883D, method 3015. (3)ESD protection to +/-15kV contact discharge, per IEC 61000-4-2 international standard. (4)Provides ESD protection for the VBUS line. (5)Compact SOT23-6 package saves board space and lowers manufacturing costs compared to discrete solutions. (6)Capacitors matched to a precision exceeding the USB specification. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of PACUSBVB-D1 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (2)Its power dissipation per resistor would be 100mW. (3)Its package power dissipation would be 200mW. (4)Its voltage on any pin DC would be 6V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of PACUSBVB-D1 are concluded as follow. (1)Its resistance of R1 resistor would be typ 15kohms. (2)Its temperature coefficient of resistance would be typ +/-1300ppm/°C. (3)Its capacitance of C1 capacitor would be min 37.6pF and typ 47pF and max 56.4pF at 0Vdc and would be min 25.6pF and typ 32pF and max 38.4pF at 2.5Vdc. (4)Its matching tolerance of C1 capacitors would be max +/-2%. (5)Its diode leakage current to GND would be typ 1nA and max 100nA. (6)Its diode reverse bias voltage would be min 5.5V. And so on.
