The P7609-105-820K is designed as one member of the P7609 family which comprises medium current, unshielded power inductors available in eight low profile sizes (2.2-5.4mm). The range covers three decades of values from 1H to 820H, and provides very cost-effective and compact solutions for medium power applications. In this family Pb-free electrodes are directly plated onto the ferrite. Such terminations provide excellent solderability, terminal strength and heat resistance. The P7609-105-820K family is compliant with RoHS directive 2002/95/EC, and suitable for lead-free and conventional placement and reflow.
P7609-105-820K has eight features. (1)Lead-free (Pb-free). (2)RoHS compliant. (3)Current to 3.8A. (4)Low DCR (to 30mohms). (5)Low profile (to 2.2mm). (6)Surface mount. (7)Flat top pick & place. (8)Electroplated terminals. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of P7609-105-820K have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (2)Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to 85°C. (3)Its soldering temperature profile peak would be 260°C for 10 seconds. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device. Handle in accordance with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 procedure for components classified as IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020 moisture sensitivity level 2.
