P7602-1003-7R0YT

The P7602-1003-7R0YT is designed as one member of the P7602 series which comprises low profile, shielded power inductors. Components are available in two mechanical sizes, suited to low-profile applications. The larger 1003 size has lower DCR and higher current rating. The P7602-1003-7R0YT family provides reliable self-leaded Pb-free terminations. Parts are compliant with RoHS directive 2002/95/EC, and suitable for Pb-free and conventional placement and reflow. Typical applications is DC-DC converters.

P7602-1003-7R0YT has eight features. (1)Lead-free (Pb-free). (2)RoHS compliant. (3)Magnetic shielding. (4)High current (to 10A). (5)Low DCR (to 8m). (6)Low profile (<4mm). (7)Surface mount. (8)Flat top for pick & place. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of P7602-1003-7R0YT have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (2)Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to 105°C. (3)Its soldering temperature profile peak would be 260°C 10s. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device. Handle in accordance with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 procedure for components classified as IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020 moisture sensitivity level 2.

Also some electrical characteristics of P7602-1003-7R0YT are concluded as follow. (1)Its inductance would be 7.0+/-30%uH. (2)Its DCR max would be 27mohms. (3)Its rated DC current Idc would be 4.8A. And so on. It should be noted that inductance measured at 100kHz, 1V. Rated current, IRMS, is the current at which the temperature rise is 40°C (max). Saturation current, Isat, is the DC current at which the zero-current inductance drops by 30% (typ).
