The P6448 is designed as a photoreflector consisting of a light modulation photo IC and an infrared LED, etc. The light modulation photo IC allows reliable operation even under background disturbance light. P6448's typical applications is reflective optical switches.
P6448 has three features. (1)Compact size (35x10x17mm). (2)Detection distance 30cm typ. (3)Allowable background light level: 2000lx min. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of P6448 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be from -0.5V to 7V. (2)Its output current would be 50mA. (3)Its output voltage would be from -0.5V to 12V. (4)Its operating temperature range would be from -20°C to 60°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -30°C to 85°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of P6448 are concluded as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be min 4.75V and max 5.25V.
