The P6141T is designed as a plannar power transformer using multilayer PCB technology. It is intended for low profile high frequency DC-DC forward converters up to 500kHz. With careful design, output power exceeding 30W is achievable. P6141T has split primaries and secondaries enabling the device to be configured for 48V and 24V inputs and 5V or 3.3V outputs.
P6141T has seven features. (1)Plannar windings. (2)4mm height above PCB. (3)Low leakage inductance. (4)High frequency operation. (5)Externally configurable. (6)Centre-trapped secondaries. (7)Lead-free (Pb-free). Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of P6141T have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its short term isolation voltage 1s would be 500Vrms. (2)Its V.us per primary winding would be 16V.us. (3)Its storage temperature range would be 85°C. (4)Its magnetic core temperature would be 120°C. (5)Its reflow temperature 10s would be 260°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
