P3934

The P3934 is a low distortion transformer for central office ADSL over POTS applications using the analog devices AD20msp930 chipset. It is certified to safety standards IEC 950 and UL 60950 for supplementary insulation, 250V working voltage. P3934 is a UL recognized component and is supported by an IEC CB test certificate. The part is completely lead-free and suitable for lead-free and conventional processing. The safety system yields very low transformer parasitics, ensuring that P3934 exhibits excellent frequency response and balance; in combination with its good harmonic distortion performance, P3934 is ideally suited to low cost yet demanding ADSL applications.

P3934 has six features. (1)Lead-free (Pb-free). (2)Low distortion. (3)IEC 950 and UL 60950 certified. (4)UL recognized component. (5)Supplementary insulation. (6)Industry standard footprint. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of P3934 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its short term isolation voltage 1s would be 2.12kVrms and 3.0kVdc. (2)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 85°C. (3)Its thermal temperature would be 260°C 10 seconds. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of P3934 are concluded as follow. (1)Its inductance would be min 1.8mH and typ 2.0mH and max 2.2mH. (2)Its leakage inductance would be max 12uH. (3)Its interwinding capacitance would be max 40pF. (4)Its DC resistance would be typ 0.5ohms at 2-4, 3-5 and would be typ 1.0ohms at 6-8 and 7-9. (5)Its turns ratio would be min 1.09 and typ 1.11 and max 1.14. (6)Its voltage isolation would be min 2.12kVrms and min 3.0kV. And so on.
