The P3311 is designed as one kind of low distortion line matching transformers which is intended for V.90 and V.92 (56kbps) modems and other high-speed applications where ultra-low distortion at moderate power levels and very low voiceband frequencies is required at a most competitive price. P3311 is offered as a direct replacement for 2811B and ATS-273 in existing circuits without changes to matching components. P3311 uses patented design and construction methods to achieve excellent signal performance and safety isolation to international standards.
P3311 has twelve features. (1)Lead-free (Pb-free). (2)RoHS compliant. (3)Low distortion. (4)12.6mm (0.5") seated height. (5)Industry standard pinout. (6)IEC 60950 and UL 60950 certified. (7)UL recognized component. (8)Environmentally tested to IEC 68. (9)CERT reliability tested. (10)Excellent frequency response. (11)High thermal stability. (12)Directly replaces 2811B and ATS-273. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of P3311 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its short term isolation voltage 1s would be 2.12kVrms and 3.0kVdc. (2)Its DC current would be 100uA. (3)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to +85°C. (4)Its lead temperature 10 seconds would be 260°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of P3311 are concluded as follow. (1)Its insertion loss would be max 2.0dB. (2)Its frequency response would be typ 10pF at LF -3dB cutoff and would be typ 30kHz at HF -3dB cutoff. (3)Its return loss would be min 20dB at 200Hz to 4kHz.
