The P3176 is designed as one kind of ultra low distortion line matching transformers which is intended for V.90 and V.92 (56kbps) modems and other high-speed applications where low distortion at high power levels and very low voiceband frequencies is required at a competitive price. P3176 is mechanically compatible with industry standard P1200 and P2001 and electrically and mechanically compatible with P3146. P3176 has extended flat frequency response from 30Hz to 4kHz with very low levels of signal distortion at signal frequencies as low as 150Hz.
P3176 has nine features. (1)Lead-free (Pb-free). (2)RoHS compliant. (3)12.6mm (0.5'') seated height. (4)Extended frequency response. (5)IEC 60950 and UL 60950 certified. (6)UL recognized component. (7)Flat TX and RX responses. (8)High thermal stability. (9)Low distortion. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of P3176 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its short term isolation voltage 1s would be 4.6kVrms, 6.5kVdc. (2)Its DC current would be 100uA. (3)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (4)Its lead temperature 10 seconds would be 260°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
