      The OVSR9CBCR8 is a side-looking blue-green 4.0 mm*4.0 mm 120°surface-mounted LED that can be used ad a light sourde in many applications.So OVSR9CBCR8 is ideal for optical indicators,coupling into light guides,back lights(LCD switches,keys,displays,illuminated advertising,general lighting),interior automotive lighting(dashboard backlighting,etc),automotive applications.marker lights(e.g.,steps,exit ways,etc.)and signal and symbol luminaire.
      The OVSR9CBCR8 has five features.The first one is that its compact size allows use in space-conscious devices.The second one is that thin profile offers unlimited design flexibility.The third one is that long life span reduces maintenance cost.The fourth one is that it is suitable for all SMT assembly methods.The last one is blue-green(505 nm) water clear lens.
      The OVSR9CBCR8 has some absolute maximum ratings at TA=25.The power dissipation is 85 mW.The peak forward current is 100 mA when duty cycle=1/10 and PW100 sec(pulse width0.1 msec,duty1/10).The Operating temperature range is from -40 to +100.The storage temperature is from -40 to +100.The reverse voltage is 5 V.The continuous forward current is 20 mA.The junction temperature is 110.The junction/ambient is 350/W under the condition of mounted on PC board FR 4(pad size16m).The junction/solder point is 250/W.
