NX8571 Series

      The NX8571 Series is designed as CW light source and ideal for transmission systems in which external modulators are used.It's a 1 550 nm Multiple Quantum Well (MQW) structured Distributed Feed-Back (DFB) laser diode module with wavelength monitor function.The temperature is adjustable  when it's over 4 * 50 GHz channels.While the ITU-T grid wavelengths is at C-band (1530.334 to 1565.087 nm) or L-band (1565.496 to 1608.760 nm),it's also available for use.

      As a 1550 nm CW light source InGaAsP MQW-DFB laser diode module with wavelength monitor,here are some features of the NX8571 Series.As the first,is Wavelength monitor function (Etalon Filter, Wavelength monitor PD);Secondly,it's Optical output power Pf is 10 mW MIN;Thirdly, it's available for DWDM wavelengths based on ITU-T recommendations (50 GHz grid);and the NX8571 Series also has some other characteristics such as its Internal thermo-electric cooler and isolator,Hermetically sealed 14-pin butterfly package and the polarization maintain fiber pigtail as well as the 4-channel wavelength tunable capability for 50 GHz-spacing (NX8571S****D).

      The following gives the absolute maximum ratings of some of the important parameters of the NX8571 Series .Two relative groups of figures are :Forward Current of LD IF is 300mA and Reverse Voltage of LD VR is 2.0V, while the Forward Current of PD IF is 10mA and Reverse Voltage of PD VR is 20V.Additionally, here are some datas about the temperature.Two of those is variable datas: one is the Operating Case Temperature TC, which can vary from −20 to +7°C,and the other one is the Storage Temperature Tstg, the rating is between −40 to +85°C.The rest paremeter about temperature is the Lead Soldering Temperature Tsld, that is 260 (10 sec.)°C.
