The NTE56066 and NTE56067 are glass passivated, high commutation TRIACs in a TO220 type package designed for use in circuits where static and dynamic dV/dt and high dI/dt can occur. These NTE56066 will commutate the full rated RMS current at the maximum rated junction temperature, without the aid of a snubber.
