NJU7660

The NJU7660 is designed as a voltage converter incorporated CR oscillator, voltage level shifter and power MOS, which generates a polarity-converted negative voltage or twofold voltage of an operating voltage ranging from +1.5V to +10V. The application circuit of negative voltage converter requires only two capacitors and positive twofold voltage converter requires two capacitors, two resistors and one diode as external components.

NJU7660 has nine features. (1) Polarity converted negative voltage output. (2) Twofold positive voltage output. (3) Operating voltage +1.5V to +10.0V for negative voltage converter and +3.0V to +10.0V for positive voltage converter. (4) High efficiency voltage conversion rate 99.9%. (no load, negative voltage converter). (5) High efficiency power conversion rate. (negative voltage converter). (6) 2n times voltage output using cascade connection. (7) Few external components. (8) Package outline DIP / DMP / SSOP 8. (9) CMOS technology. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points of NJU7660 as follow. (1) Its supply voltage is 10.5V. (2) Its input voltage is from -0.3V to V++0.3 at V+<5.5V and would be V+-5.5V to (V+)+0.3V at V+>5.5V. (3) Its power dissipation is 500mW for DIP8 and 300mW for DMP8 and 250mW for SSOP8. (4) Its operating temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C. (5) Its storage temperature range is from -65°C to +150°C.

Also some electrical characteristics about NJU7660. (1) Its operating current would be typ 170uA and max 500uA. (2) Its operating voltage is min 3.0V and max 6.5V for Vr=OPEN and min 1.5V and max 3.5V for Vr=GND. (3) Its output resistance is typ 55 and max 100 for Vr=OPEN and would be max 300 for Vr=GND. (4) Its oscillation frequency is 5kHz. (5) Its power conversion rate is min 90% and typ 98%. (5) Its voltage conversion rate is min 97% and typ 99.9%. And so on.
