The NJU7304 is designed as a CMOS 8-channel multiplexer with sample and hold function. It consists of CMOS amplifier, analog switch, hold-capacitor and 1/8 decoder. Any channels can be selected by 3-bit control input signal.

NJU7304 has six features. (1) Multi-signal-input in combination with a microprocessor and D/A converter. (2) Wide operating voltage 20V. (3) Low droop 1mV / 5mS typ. (4) CMOS compatible input. (5) Package outline DIP 16. (6) CMOS technology. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points of NJU7304 as follow. (1) Its supply voltage is from -0.5V to +20V for Vdd - GND and would be from -0.5V to +20V for Vdd - Vee. (2) Its input voltage is from Vee-0.5V to Vdd+0.5V. (3) Its output voltage is from Vee-0.5V to Vdd+0.5V. (4) Its input current is from -10mA to 10mA. (5) Its output current is from -10mA to 10mA. (6) Its power dissipation is 500mW DIP. (7) Its operating temperature range is from 0°C to +75°C. (8) Its storage temperature range is from -40°C to +125°C.

Also some electrical characteristics about NJU7304. (1) Its operating current is max 8mA. (2) Its input voltage is min 0V and max 10V. (3) Its offset voltage is max +/-30mW.
