The NJM3359 is designed as a low power narrow band FM detector integrated circuit for FM dual conversion of communication equipment. It includes oscillator, limiting amplifier, AFC circuit, quadreture detect, operational amplifier, squelch circuit, scan-control and muting switch.
NJM3359 has five features. (1)Low operating current which would be 3.6mA typ at V+=6V. (2)Input limiting voltage which would be 2.0uVrms typ at -3dB. (3)Minimum other parts. (4)Package outline. (5)Bipolar technology. Those are all the main features.
